At the start of her career, Brinn was entrusted with the public relations efforts of high-profile clients, such as Jamba Juice, Kenneth Cole, American Eagle Outfitters, and Boston Properties' Embarcadero Center. This experience honed her storytelling talent and solidified her industry reputation.
Brinn’s passion for her work led her to establish
Switchback PR + Marketing in Truckee, California
with an emphasis on lifestyle clients and working with projects
she and her team were passionate about.
Over the course of 25+ years, she spearheaded the company’s business growth, balancing multiple channels to create award-winning branding and public relations for eager entrepreneurs to the most distinguished clientele. The pinnacle of this chapter was the creation of Downtown Truckee’s
Annual Wine, Walk, and Shop event, a testament
to her creativity and business acumen.
Following her love of the great outdoors, Brinn advanced her expertise in crisis communication. Understanding ‘what could go wrong,’ Brinn worked tirelessly to assess and produce crisis plans for Ruby Mountain Helicopter Skiing, Squaw Valley, Sugar Bowl, and homeowners’ Associations including Tahoe Donner, one of the largest homeowner associations in North America. Combining experience with empathy, Brinn created a crystal-clear protocol to helpher clients close the gap between ‘feeling ready’ and ‘being ready.’
While competent in crisis communications and a champion of challenge, Brinn never lets negativity disrupt her quick-witted, fun-loving, and opportunistic personality.

and is a shameless “foodie” who also enjoys music
from rock to Bach and everything in between.
She is also an animal lover from birth. Brinn and her family raise and ride horses in between raising a farm full of “furry family members.” Brinn is proud to raise two daughters: Sophia competes in college-level rodeo, and Katarina is an avid violinist in the Reno Youth Orchestra.

Steven Holt is a public relations, communications, branding and marketing executive with more than 20 years of media and communications strategy experience. Throughout his career, he has become a master in designing, launching and marketing some of America’s most prestigious hotels & resorts, companies, events and dining establishments.
Steven served as a senior communications executive with
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company
for over twelve years, developing strategy and launching hotels and celebrity chef restaurants throughout the western U.S. Ultimately, he was named Regional Director, Public Relations, The Americas with responsibility over media relations, influencer and crisis communications within North & South America. As Regional Director, The Americas,
he also was The Ritz-Carlton brand spokesperson
and directed C-Suite executive communications.
Steven left The Ritz-Carlton to form his own consultancy and partner with a former CBS executive in New York City to join 360Bespoke, a bi-coastal PR/Marketing firm as Chief Luxury & Travel Officer. His path as one of the West’s most sought-after authorities in the business is as prominent as the companies that hired Steven. He has written public relations, marketing and brand strategy across multiple industries including luxury, real estate, hospitality, design and the arts. His current eponymous agency, TALBOT | HOLT, a public relations, branding and marketing firm is focused on hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, government, public affairs,
events and crisis communications.
Starting his hospitality career in 1999 at Aspen’s legendary Hotel Jerome, An Auberge Resorts Collection hotel, he became actively engaged with the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, serving on or co-chairing the media committee since 2000. From Aspen, Steven joined The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, Colorado which began a twelve-year career opening resorts in Lake Tahoe and Rancho Mirage. Steven held Market Director roles in San Francisco and Los Angeles leading PR & Marketing for Northern California, Southern California, Hawaii and Colorado.
As Regional Director, Public Relations, The Americas
for The Ritz-Carlton brand, he worked extensively in New York City and Washington DC representing
the global portfolio of hotels and resorts.
Steven also has a strong sense of responsibility to the bottom line. He has an impressive history of leading cross-discipline teams to execute persuasive revenue and profit generating sales, communications, and strategic marketing campaigns.
Steven is a master storyteller and has a global perspective from his business experience to his American and European education. He blends his creativity with a keen business acumen to deliver success for his clients.
Steven is a lifelong foodie and loves to cook,
and is an avid skier and hiker.
